Seeker: 1. An abbreviation of Space Seeker. 2. A member of a chaotic cult dedicated
to destruction or subjugation of all life led by Zarkazan.
Seeker Unit: Immensely powerful three armed bipedal robots equipped similarly to Space
Seekers but with the purpose of eradicating all Space Seekers from existence. Their faceplates
contain dabsalon gas. The origin of Seeker Units is unclear.
Shath: Shath was a Talazi mercenary exiled from his homeworld. Expert in communications
systems and the use of a specialized sniper rifle, Shath hired himself out as a spy, bounty
hunter, and assassin. He teamed up with Harmony on Roid long ago, defeating one of the last
Dragonne attempts to invade Sector One. Shath was sole crew of the Tul Kern with Armegas once
Harmony died.
Shelley: The sentient computer aboard the Work2. Shelley was created after Charles, the
previous ship computer personality, went insane, started talking to his own simulated hand, and
tried to kill the Space Seekers. Shelley has been left in charge of LiveWire and Roid3.
Sipin: A valuable mineral used in the manufacture of many products, much as petroleum
is used on Earth. Partly the source of conflict between the Blin, Brillitz and Tox.
SOB: Son of Bizzerk. A giant ship run by Star Knights and usually held in reserve in
order to help train novice Space Seekers.
Spacecraft: Generic term for one or several outer space-faring vehicles.
Space Seeker: 1. A chaotic warrior and diplomat given training, conditioning and equipment
to continue the struggle for peace and harmony throughout the Omnispheres. 2. A mythical creature
that destroyed worlds in the distant past (Protectors era). 3. A player in The
Game. 4. You.
Space Seeker Project: Sparrow's continuation of Zatazan's dream, creating a capable
force of potent and knowledgeable peacekeepers to solve problems and prevent disasters from
befalling at least Sector One, if not the galaxy, universe, and Omnisphere.
Space Seeker Symbol: A collection of angular lines used as the symbol of the Space
Seeker Project.
Spaceship: (also ship) Generic term for a vehicle used in outer space, though usually
applied to a unique vehicle, i.e. Let's go back to my spaceship, Goldrunner.
Sparrow: The MC of Sector One and the standard Space Seekers (Dan).
squeek-squeek: a metagame comment meant to return players to The Game from a tangent.
Originated with am inflatable hammer toy that would squeek when you hit something with it.
Players would hit each other or just squeeze it when they got too far off from The Game.
Star Knights: A galactic police force created by the Space Seekers long ago to handle
"the small problems" and to help maintain order in the universe. The Star Knights are weaker
than Space Seekers but far more numerous. In the Protectors era, the Star Knights controlled
much of the galaxy ruled by a Star Knight Supreme as they had for millions of years following
the Space Seeker War.
Star Knight Supreme: (Protectors Era) The leader of the SKE. High Commander of all fleets. The Supreme
is genetically designed to be the best ruler of the Empire. His near-absolute rule is tempered
by the rulings of the Star Knight Council.
Suit: (also spacesuit) Typically armored clothing worn to protect the wearer from harsh environments,
typically outer space, but sometimes ocean depths, poison clouds, or solar coronas.
Supik: 1. A planet of hostile mantis-creatures that was at war with the Londa for
control of the Fumut crystals, all aboard Hardcore's hold. Supik somehow escaped Hardcore
to appear in the Protectors Era. 2. A member of the race from the planet Supik; a hostile and
technologically advanced race of giant, insectic mantis people.
Trangadst: the Dyson sphere that Ray captured and gave to Fadeaway and the Space
Seekers to turn into a training center. Before it was destroyed, Trangadst had a thriving
spaceport, an exterior population of several million, and several planetoids contained
within it, which served as different environments for Space Seeker immersion training.
Tul Kern: Originally a freighter, the Tul Kern was taken over and modified by pirates
ages ago. The pirates had a Lybronian cabin-boy by the name of Baduuku. Baduuku was the only
survivor of the massacre that killed everyone else aboard the Tul Kern. The negative energies
of so much death and destruction bled into the ship, which gradually warped and twisted with
the evil. Now it is a dread force, recognizable for its exterior spiked with weapon
emplacements and the giant mobile arm linked to its undercarriage. The Tul Kern is equipped
with Time Stop missiles, among other weaponry.
Warp Rocks: Giant red crystalline asteroids that are ubiquitous in Warp. Physical
contact between an n-space object or being and a warp rock will fuse the object with the rock,
transforming it into that much more warp crystal.
Watcher, the: Also known as the Space Mage or Space Seeker VI, this Space Seeker abandoned
the standard Seeker reliance on gear in favor of developing vast mental powers with which he defended both
himself and the order of the Omnispheres in the Battle of Five Omnispheres and beyond. The
Watcher has left our reality in order to build his own Omnisphere.
Weapondry: A peculiar and possibly Southern US alternate form of "weaponry", commonly used
in Space Seekers.
Who is this?: For a time during the adventures aboard the interdimensional hold
of Hardcore, "Who is this?" was the standard Space Seeker greeting.
Work2: The last of the Foreigner Force spaceships, the Work2 was most recently captained
by Fadeaway. The Work2 docks aboard LiveWire and is controlled by its ship computer, Shelley.
ZAT units: The most common companion droid for a Space Seeker, ZATs were primarily designed to
relieve the boredom and loneliness of deep space, and secondarily to support, train and protect
their Space Seeker companion. As a result, most ZAT units are implacable foes to the enemy
and a severe practical joker to Space Seekers. ZATs enjoy testing Space Seekers and are known
for sabotaging non-vital Space Seeker endeavors and making Seekers look ridiculous at any
opportunity. ZAT units are three feet tall oblong spheroids with sensor eyes and various
extendable attachments contained within their floating hulls.
Zatazan: the Father of the Space Seekers, Zatazan became obsessed with justice after
his wife was killed. Among other things, Zatazan is responsible for Bizzerk, Nakka, Meleon,
and the first Space Seeker, the Sparrow (Space Seeker One). Zatazan put his consciousness into
Bizzerk, but was sabotaged by Nakka, creating the Bizzerk entity.
