Zat is an incredibly gifted companion droid. One of
the oldest of the companion droids, Zat was designed to keep the Space Seekers
well trained, alert, and keep them from going stircrazy in the stark loneliness
of the vaccuum of space. Sometimes Zat gets a little carried away in keeping
the Space Seeker on his toes, but for the most part, he is an irreplaceable
companion who's pulled many-a Space Seeker's butt out of the fire (as well as
bringing them back from near death.) It has been noted many times that Zat has
a somewhat deranged sense of humor.
