About Us

1st It's a dice-less science fiction based role playing game similar to so many role playing games that are out there. Those whom are more in touch with other role playing games inform me that project: Space Seekers is a Space Opera type game.

2nd It's been my home away from home for over 20 years. A way of escape from those tedious irks of reality. I've drawn, written, animated, and told countless tails concerning project: Space Seekers. It has become (to me a several who've played it) a stead fast hobby, habit, and sometimes addiction.

3rd It's about you being in the most amazing powerful organization in the Crono sphere (an area that encompasses countless universes) has ever witnessed. You are chosen (recruited from earth as you are) to be a hero and an explorer.
Although from time to time though there is an awful mistake and some one is recruited up from earth whom is corrupt and evil.
Money is not a concern. Owning and operating crafts that are measured in miles is common in the organization of project: Space Seekers

Where are the Space Seekers from?

The project gets its recruits from earth. More specifically of the last 20 of earths years they have been recruited from the San Francisco Bay Area in California USA.
But going by Sector Ones time, those twenty years have taken place over the last 5,000 or so years.

Currently Space Seekers are only being recruited by accident and that is making the universe of the modern Space Seeker a very scary place.

Why good old earth?

Earth has more evil attached to it than 50 of the worst worlds in Sector one. Yet some how there are peaceful (for the most part) people living there with love, honor, and respect for one another. Because of our natural ability to shed such evil we make nearly fearless warriors and explorers.

Space Seeker 18 baffles co-worker with Space Seeker information- Must read

My sister is a dreamer too. In reference to Space Seekers she wrote:

So what does stop you from writing a screenplay? You only have to write the outline...then the main characters outlines...then the studio who buys it will either give you a ghost writer &/or you always hear writers say how the studio ends up destroying their story anyways...or you could work with a college to grass-roots shoot your film, animated by you and your staff. So many people of the years have said what a GREAT storyteller you are, *why not use your God given talents to CASH-IN, and share your talents with others??? What is holding you back?

" no doubt due to your sister, who in your childhood, enchanted you with tales and spent hours and hours reading to you....LOL!!!

My mini fantasy is you meet someone at an arts college...you go before all their divisions...then 3 times a week you meet with the professors and students...an extra time a week to just game.
Then the writers attend all your gaming sessions ...
The art and graphic students study your drawing and you create in front of them so they can copy your style..
You audition voices from the acting students..
The filming dept works on special effects with the graphic dept., the english department works on an advertising campaign. The business department on products to merchandise.
The history department does an in dept interview with you and Steve and writes a concise history that will be illustrated and sold as comic books.

The math department works on making the calibrations on the space craft all jive throughout the movie and stories...the science department works on similarly on making sure this action would cause this reaction and in space too...
Then the university of 3000 plus students would work with other colleges to start a grass root campaign to go and see the finished movie..
There was an agreement drawn up before that the idea and original"stuff" is all your property and you get 75% of the profits. Once it hits the silver screen, America goes wild over it and not only does the merchandise sell out, not only does the costume become the #1 Halloween costumes that year, but a major studio wants to distribute it and more ....major publishers want to publish the prequels and sequel. The university makes millions which a large part is put into art scholarships...and you make 10's of millions.

Who, what, and when Space Seekers

Project: Space Seekers was born in 1982 by Jim Sullivan and Dan Spears. We had no knowledge then that the game was real. We only played it to fight off the boredom. Only a few months into playing "the game" Steve Malkassian joined in. Less than a year and a half after Steve, Paul Torres joined in.

By the Numbers:
Space Seeker One ( W. Dan M. Spears actually fourth to be recruited) originally named and ran project: Space Seekers
Space Seeker Two (James A. Sullivan ) Captain of T.A.L.O.S. also known as Space Warrior One.
Space Seeker Three (Steve B. Malkassian) Captain of Bizzerk , Ran first off shoot of project: Space Seekers named Alpha Quest ( a much better name).
Space Seeker Four (Paul C. Torres) Captain of the Phoenix Storm. Ran second off shoot of Space Seekers.

project:Space Seekers lives on today thanks to a few of the old guys and those "New guys" whom have only been gaming for 8, 9, 10 years. Space Seekers six, eighteen and nineteen have help the game thrive by
bringing other gamers to Space Seekers II. Space Seeker Six has hosted Space Seekers.com on his server at home for more than two years. There have been many off shoots of Space Seekers and more to come I'm sure.
